Timothy Wahl, who lives in Glendale, California, has taught English-as-a-second language in adult education with the Los Angeles Unified School District and the American Language Center at UCLA Extension. An alumnus of the University of Iowa, he has also published a memoir (Hard Times in the Country: Ramblings of a Hayseed) of growing up on a dairy farm in New York state. This book is the result of the author’s lifelong passion for football and his skill teaching American English and culture to learners from the far reaches of the world.
